QUANTUM CAPABILITY,PROVEN THROUGH REAL WORK

Turning quantum capabilityinto evidence the world can trust.

QVillager is developing the infrastructure to connect quantum work requirements with reliable evidence of individual and team capability, built through real tasks and outcomes. Founded by a quantum information researcher at the University of Tokyo.

The resulting evidence can be reused across development, selection, team formation, and external collaboration.

QVArena

Turning practice into capability evidence.

QVArena is a platform being developed to manage practical tasks, submissions, evaluation, and capability profiles in one continuous workflow.

It captures problem understanding, formulation, method design, implementation, validation, and explanation, building structured evidence of practical capability from concrete outcomes, beyond resumes and self-reported skills.

It turns actual work into structured capability evidence and accumulates information that can be reused across roles, projects, and organizations.

For participants, it is also the place to accumulate work and outcomes, and to show real ability in concrete form.

As evaluation methods and workflows are tested with companies and research institutions, the lessons are incorporated into reusable frameworks and QVArena features.

How It Works

How it works

  1. Work Definition

Structure the work, the role, and the expected outcomes.

  2. Capability Definition

Define the capabilities the work requires, and the level it demands.

  3. Evidence Collection

Record practical tasks, code, deliverables, and explanations in a shared evidence structure.

  4. Evaluation & Validation

Evaluate and validate individual and team ability against the requirements of the work.

  5. Decision Workflow

Design and validate workflows that put evaluation results to work in development, selection, hiring, team formation, and external collaboration.

Evaluation Framework

QV Capability Framework

For quantum software and algorithm tasks, the current QV Capability Framework examines practical work across six dimensions.

The framework can be adapted to different roles and decisions while retaining a reusable underlying structure. It does not assume that every quantum professional can be measured on a single shared score.

Capability Profile

  1. Problem Understanding

Identify the essential structure of an ambiguous real-world problem and reduce it to a tractable form.

  2. Formulation

Translate a problem into an appropriate mathematical formulation, such as QUBO or Ising.

  3. Method Design

Match the approach to the problem, using quantum, classical, and hybrid methods as each demands.

  4. Implementation

Turn the designed method into correct, working code and see it through.

  5. Validation

Verify the results and benchmark against classical baselines, judging both the advantage and its limits.

  6. Explanation

Explain why the method was chosen and what the results mean, backed by evidence.

Work, capability, and track record, as a reusable decision foundation.

QVillager accumulates the capabilities work requires, individual and team outcomes, and evaluation results in one shared structure, so multiple talent decisions can reuse them.

  • Structure the work and its capabilitiesTie duties, roles, and expected outcomes to the knowledge, judgment, implementation, and explanation they require, accumulated as reusable capability requirements.
  • Turn track records into comparable evidenceRecord practical tasks, code, reports, explanations, and past outcomes in a shared evidence structure, validated against the criteria of each piece of work.
  • Connect results to the next decisionConnect accumulated capability information to workflows for development, selection, hiring, team formation, and choosing external experts.

Start with one challenge.

Define the capabilities you need. Validate practical ability. Choose the right people and teams.

QVillager connects quantum work with proven ability, and accumulates the evidence those decisions can reuse.

And for every challenger who wants to show their ability through practice.
