Product development, research, events, and program participation: QVillager's activities and progress in one place.
QVillager is working to define the capabilities quantum work requires and to validate individual and team ability from practice.
Product development centered on QVArena, interviews with companies and research institutions, evaluation-method validation, events, and research and business development are all under way.
2026.02
Presented the QVillager vision and demoed the quantum talent evaluation platform at the University of Oxford.
2026.04
Introduced QVillager's work on quantum deployment and talent development to companies and startup partners.
2026.06
Started building the QVArena MVP: practical tasks, submission records, and evaluation. Validating how tasks and outcomes can accumulate into decision-ready capability evidence.
2026.07
Selected for the Startup Market at IVS2026, Japan's largest startup conference (300 companies), and chosen as one of 12 finalists for the SPIKES PITCH contest, presenting how quantum ability should be judged and connected to work and opportunities.
2026.07
Launched QFlow, a composition studio that applies quantum principles to music-making. It runs in the browser and opens the quantum world through music.
2026.08
Selected for J-StarX's Silicon Valley program (Stanford course); participating from August to September 2026.
2026.10
A quantum ideathon at QuintBridge Osaka (NTT West), co-hosted with Tokiwa Valley. One day that runs from solving a disaster-response problem with QAOA to designing and pitching new quantum projects built on real societal problems.
Selected for the Startup Market (300 companies) at IVS2026, Japan's largest startup conference, and a SPIKES PITCH finalist (12 companies).
Research in quantum information accepted by Physical Review Letters, and covered by Nikkei, New Scientist, and other media at home and abroad.
Selected for and participating in NEDO's quantum R&D prize program, J-StarX, and programs connected to the University of Oxford and Stanford.
Through QVArena development, practical events, and community operations, validating how capability evidence accumulates and how participants can show their ability.
