We have started building the QVArena MVP, covering the full loop: presenting a practical challenge, recording what gets submitted, and evaluating it.
The design question at the centre is how a submission becomes material for a decision. Whether the thing ran is not enough to separate one person from another; make the rubric too granular, though, and the challenge drifts away from real work. We are having people solve actual challenges and watching where the differences actually show.
In parallel we continue interviewing companies and research institutions. What do they genuinely need to know when hiring or assigning someone, and does the record we keep answer that question? We are testing both at the same pace as we build.
